Tower of London and Greenwich

Next in London was the Tower of London, one of the Queens four residents and in the past was the main residents of the royal family. Some how my pictures uploaded in the reverse order. I did Tower of London first thing in the morning before meeting up with Steph to take the Boat Taxi down the Thames to Greenwich.
The Tower of London was super cool, if you saw my post on Carcassonne then its somewhat comparable to that. People do still live in the Tower of London, and there is a permanent guard on site in front of the Queens residence. The Tower is steeped in history as a home, a fortification, a prison, a place of execution and of course the church. Here is were Anne Boleyn was famously executed and her body is under the church on site. I believe there were only ever 5 executions to take place within the tower walls, the rest too place publicly on Tower Hill.
After Seeing Tower of London Steph and I proceeded to Greenwich to see the Royal observatory and Mean Time. This is the exact point of Central Time since the world apparently revolves around London.

Steph and I standing over two time zones.

 Queens House

I don't now how they fought people in this you can't see a thing.

This is the TOwer of London, it used to be the gateway into London as well.
